The Hospitality Ministry plays an integral part in making each service or event function run smoothly. This committed and attentive team works quickly and confidently in welcoming attenders, seating guests, distributing material, collecting the offering, promoting safety, and keeping order.  They are also responsible for all preparation of food and drink.

The members of this Ministry are the church’s first effort of friendliness and kindness. They are the wide smile and warm handshake of the congregation to those who enter.  Therefore, the ministry's purpose is to exude the love of Christ to all guests and members that they may be transformed from strangers into the family of God.

 

The motivation for the hospitality ministry comes from the following scriptures:
1- “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:2

2- “The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
